Seashells Ring Box
by Sandi Miller

Seashells Ring BoxMaterials:

Satin Mache - Any shape (Sandi used the Treasure Box)
Perfect Paper Adhesive - Matte
Premo Clay - Any Color (Sandi used Turquoise)
PrintMakers - Any style (Sandi used Seashells)
Pearl Ex - in a complimentary color (Sandi used Duo Green/Yellow)
Lumiere Paint - Any color (Sandi used Bright Gold)
Embellishments - Any variety (Sandi used rhinestones

Directions:

  1. Coat a Satin Mache Treasure Box with Perfect Paper Adhesive - Matte. This seals the box, prepping it for the clay.
  2. Paint the inside using Lumiere paint.
  3. Dust a PrintMakers plate with a complimentary color of Pearl Ex, and run it and a piece of Premo through a pasta machine. (The Pearl Ex not only enhances the Premo, but also prevents any Premo from sticking to the rubber.)
  4. Carefully apply the clay to the box, smoothing edges and trimming excess away with an artist knife, or scissors.
  5. Apply any embellishments, such as rhinestones, beads or wire.
  6. Bake as Premo directions suggest.
