Necklace Holder

Necklace Holder - Homemade Gift Idea

Materials:

1. Wooden base in an octagon shape
2. Wooden rod at least 6 in high and 3 in wide
3. 6 pegs/rods
4. 4 sheets of coordinating 12x12 paper
5. 1 strip of coordinating paper for the base
6. Wood glue
7. Drill
8. Screws

Directions:

1. Place your wooden base upside down on the top of the large wooden rod.
2. Using your drill attach the two pieces together with a screw.
3. Take your strip of paper and glue it around the side of the base.
4. Take your 12 x12 sheets of paper and cut down into strips; you will need four (one for each side of the rod).
5. Glue down the paper on all four sides
6. Next take your drill and drill 6 holes on your rod; two holes on each side of the rod. Make sure that these holes are big enough for the pegs to go into.
7. Place the in the holes. Keep in place with wood glue.
8. Set aside to dry for about 4 hours.
