MATERIALS:
Throw measures approximately 50" x 64".
RED HEART® “Plush™”, Art. E719 (6 ounce
skeins): 25 Ounces No. 9220 Apricot CA, 13
ounces each No. 9627 Lt. Sage CB and No.
9628 Dark Sage CC.
Crochet Hook: 5.5mm [US I-9].
Yarn needle.
GAUGE:
Square measures 7" x 7". CHECK YOUR
GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

INSTRUCTIONS:
SQUARE (Make 63): With
CA, ch 4; join with a sl st in first ch to
form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 8 sc in ring; join with a sl
st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 2; [yo and draw up a lp]
twice all in first sc, yo and draw yarn through all 5 lps on
hook – beg puff st made; ch 3;
* [yo and draw up a lp] 3 times all in next sc, yo and
draw yarn through all 7 lps on hook – puff st
made; ch 3; rep from
* around; join with a sl st in top of beg puff st – 8 puff
sts. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: With right side facing, attach
CB in any ch-3 sp; ch 5, 3 dc in same sp, 3
dc in next ch-3 sp, [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) all in next sp, 3 dc
in next sp] 3 times, work 2 more dc in first sp; join with a
sl st in 3rd ch of ch-5.
Rnd 4: Sl st into first sp, ch 3, (dc, ch
2, 2 dc) all in same sp, * ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next
dc, ch 1, skip next dc, [dc in sp between 3-dc groups, ch 1,
skip next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc] twice **,
(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in next ch-2 sp; rep from * around,
end at **; join in top of ch-3. Fasten off.
Rnd 5: With right side facing, attach CC in
any ch-2 sp; ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in same sp, * dc in
next 2 dc, [dc in sp, dc in dc] 6 times, dc in next dc **,
(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in next sp; rep from * around, end at
**; join – 19 dc on each side between ch-2 corner sps.
Fasten off.
Rnd 6: With right side facing, attach
CA in any ch-2 sp; ch 3, dc in same sp;
[yo] 5 times, insert hook in the corner sp of Rnd 2 between
the two 3-dc groups of Rnd 3 and draw lp through, [yo and
draw through 2 lps] 6 times – long tr
made; 2 dc in same sp as last dc, * ch 1, skip next dc, [dc
in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc] 9 times **, (2 dc, long tr,
2 dc) all in next corner; rep from
* around, end at **; join.
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, * sc
in next dc, (sc, ch 1, sc) all in long tr), sc in 2 dc **,
[sc in sp, sc in dc] 10 times; rep from * around, end at **,
[sc in sp, sc in dc] 9 times, sc in sp; join to first sc.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
FINISHING: Sew squares together: 7 squares
wide by 9 squares long.
Edging-Rnd 1: With right side facing,
attach CA in any corner ch-1 sp; ch 1, * (sc, ch 1, sc) all
in corner, sc evenly across to next corner; rep from *
around; join to first sc.
Rnd 2: Sl st in ch-1 sp, ch 1, * (sc, ch 2,
sc) all in sp, sc in each sc to next corner ch-1 sp; rep
from * around; join. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: With right side facing, attach CC in
any corner ch-2 sp; ch 1, ** (sc, ch 2, sc) all in sp, skip
next sc, * (sc, ch 2, sc) all in next sc, skip next sc; rep
from * to next corner; rep from ** around, adjusting if
necessary at corners and end of rnd; join. Fasten off. Weave
in ends.
